The hydrogen strategy update

Hear from Australia’s Chief Scientist, Dr Alan Finkel AO on the latest work to develop and implement a national strategy for hydrogen energy in Australia. Minister for Regional Development; Agriculture; Food and Ports, Hon. Alannah MacTiernan will provide an update on the Western Australia Hydrogen Strategy. There is consensus across States, Territories and the Federal Government that hydrogen has a key role to play in Australia’s energy future, with Australia’s Chief Scientist, Dr Alan Finkel AO overseeing the COAG Energy Council’s development of a national hydrogen strategy.

With the national strategy to be finalised and presented to state energy ministers in December 2019, this is your opportunity to help shape work on the development of one of Australia’s exciting growth opportunities.

Dr Finkel and Minister MacTiernan will be joined on stage with industry leaders to provide their own insight and understanding of Australia’s Hydrogen future.

CEDA’s annual State of SA brings together leaders from across Australia to shine a light on the current disruptions and opportunities South Australia faces.  The event will focus on where future growth will come from and how we can prepare our workplaces and workforce to deliver this growth.
