Satisfaction, all along the line

Glass-melting technology specialist Horn Glass was responsible for planning, manufacturing, and commissioning an entire float glass production line at Caspian Flat Glass in the Russian Republic of Dagestan. Siemens’ solutions were put to use for the process control system, network technology, and power distribution.
“We value Siemens’ global presence, product range, and international renown,” says Markus Frank, Project Leader for Electrical Engineering at Horn Glass.
The operator was impressed with the plant from the very start, because it seamlessly produces the desired quantity of float glass with the desired quality.

The plant construction company Voith supplied an entire tissue production plant to the Albert Friedrich KG paper mill (Fripa) – including drive and automation technology from Siemens.
Fripa relies on Siemens for electrical equipment, power supply solutions, machine drives, and process control, including engineering, training, and service.
