Siemens Energy and Water Meters

Meters for exact consumption data acquisition

Meters from Siemens provide precise acquisition and allocation of the energy consumption of heating, cooling and radiators in office buildings and residential areas. Standardized M-bus and pulse outputs enable easy and fast integration into building automation systems. Wireless read-out eliminates the need for appointments with the meter-reading service.   Approved components and modern technologies ensure maximized accuracy, reliability and a long life.  The meters fulfill the requirements of E1434 and conform to MID. The maintenance-free meters have a durability of up to 15 years.

Electronic heat cost allocators

Electronic heat cost allocators

Heat cost allocators WHE5..

The electronic WHE5.. heat cost allocators are designed for decentral acquisition of consumption costs. They are used primarily when heat costs need be allocated to different users, depending on their individual heat consumption.

  • Visually read on site
  • Via an infrared interface
  • Via remote walk-by readout
  • Via automatic remote readout
Mechanical water meters

Mechanical water meters

Water meters for hot and cold water

The water meters measure the exact consumption of hot or cold water and conform to MID. They are used primarily in domestic water systems, residential or nonresidential buildings and in water supply systems.

Impeller type heat/cooling meters

Impeller type heat/cooling meters

Heat and heat/cooling energy meters

The electronic, mains-independent impeller type heat and heat/cooling energy meters WFM/WFN are of compact design and used as metering devices for the correct acquisition of energy consumption. These fully dry-running meters conform to MID class 3.

Ultrasonic heat/cooling energy meters

Ultrasonic heat/cooling energy meters

Accurate measurement using ultrasound

Siemens’ wide range of heat and heat/cooling energy meters also includes ultrasonic meters. These measure without any moving mechanical parts and conform to MID class 2.

Systems for remote readout

Systems for remote readout

Flexible data readout to the cutoff date

Siemens offers various options to acquire meter consumption data: fast, simple and reliable walk-by readout; automatic meter reading (AMR) for wireless readout – here data may be acquired either locally or remotely via the Internet; and remote consumption data acquisition via M-bus.  M-bus meter data may optionally be acquired via Siemens’ Synco IC remote operation and management system.
