Siemens Presented Innovative Solutions for New SMART NORMAL Dimension

About 115 partners from 25 companies from Albania, Bulgaria, Kosovo and North Macedonia participated in the biannual Partner Summit of Building Products business unit of Smart Infrastructure division at Siemens Bulgaria.

The event took place in Rila Hotel, Borovets Resort under the motto SMART NORMAL. The purpose of the summit was establishing a brand-new dimension of the interplay between people, smart buildings, and intelligent infrastructure - SMART NORMAL. This new stage is possible thanks to Siemens state-of-the-art products and systems which were featured in the presentations during the event.

Lecturers at the Summit were experts from Austrian, Bulgarian and Polish Siemens teams as well as representatives of the headquarters of Siemens Building Products. 

In the first part of the event Damien Nirousset, Sales Head of Regional Management and Business Development department at the global headquarters of the company in Switzerland and Gerilt Krobath, Buildings Products Head for Central and Eastern Europe, outlined some strategic news about the company, focusing on the market share growth and the increase of sales of smart buildings solutions. Special attention was drawn to the mechanisms for coping with global economic and logistic challenges. Girish Nadigere, Regional Manager for Eastern Europe and Middle East also joined strategic discussions with partners.

Eng. Alexander Stoyanov, Head of Smart Infrastructure division and Building products business unit at Siemens Bulgaria, presented local business news and marketing approach. He emphasized the crucial role of mutual proactivity, two-way communication and close cooperation with partners for accomplishing high business results in the context of a dynamic and unpredictable market.

The second part of the seminar program was devoted to introducing Siemens’ innovations in the field of building management, HVAC products and solutions and fire safety and security systems.   Siemens experts familiarized partners with the latest developments in the company’s portfolio such as IoT building management solutions, the high-tech Desigo PXC 7 controller, the newest portfolio of valves and actuators with a main focus on the intelligent valve, as well as the energy monitoring system SENTRON „Powermanager“. In the area of fire safety and security presentations featured Cerberus Cloud solutions, Fire System Builder new design and planning software and important upgrades of access control systems.

Event participants enjoined a spectacular evening show which was officially opened by Dr.-Ing. Boryana Manolova, CEO of Siemens Bulgaria.

Traditionally Siemens presented the best partners from the four countries with certificates for high accomplishments. Special awards for achieving outstanding business results received: Nalco Systems DOOEL (North Macedonia), Protech JSC (Bulgaria) and Tehnoinspekt DOO (North Macedonia).

A short excursion to Tsarska Bistritsa castle provoked a great interest. Event participants had the chance to visit a waterpower station with a Siemens generator which has proven its efficiency and reliability by working flawlessly in last 110 years.

Participants expressed their high satisfaction with the event during which they were not only introduced to building products’ strategic and technological news, but they also managed to exchange valuable experience with Siemens local and international experts and with partner companies from different countries. “This summit is an excellent opportunity for improving the competencies and expanding the business scope of all participants in the context of a very dynamic market and a quite unpredictable world situation.”, Eng.
