    The output expansions and motor starter are supplied with 24V DC via device connectors. It is not permissible to connect an additional external power supply.

    Example 2:
    Combination comprising two 3SK output expansions 3SK1211 and three 3RM11 motor starters

    IMPORTANT: 3RM1 motor starters must be located at the outermost right-hand position in the system (it is possible to use one or several of them). The motor starters only respond to the instantaneous shutdown command of the 3SK1 Advanced basic device.

    The output expansions and motor starter are supplied with 24V DC via device connectors. It is not permissible to connect an additional external power supply.

    Note:
    A DIP switch does not have to be set for 3RM1 Failsafe. Additional information is provided in the
    Manual, Chapter "Output-side expansions"

    Example 3:
    Combination comprising four 3SK output expansions 3SK1211 and a wide 3RO output expansion 3SK1213

    The output expansions and motor starter are supplied with 24V DC via device connectors. It is not permissible to connect an additional external power supply.

    A label on the side of the enclosure shows the article number of the associated connector.

    Note:
    A device connector that is used under the last linked device must be provided with a cover on the left-hand side (for the device terminating connectors).
