Mostafa El-Bagoury
CEO, Siemens Egypt
Mostafa El-Bagoury was named the Chief Executive Officer of Siemens in Egypt in 2020 after serving as Chief Financial Officer and Board Member of Siemens in Egypt since 2016.
In his current role, El-Bagoury sets the overall vision and strategy for Siemens in Egypt, from the oversight of all company business operations which contributes to the sustainability of the economy in the country.
Through his almost two decades within Siemens, he has held significant leadership roles. He also served as the Executive Vice-President, Finance for Power & Gas, Power Generation Services, Energy Management Transmission, Egypt and Wind & Renewables, Middle East from 2013 to 2016. During this post, his engagement and involvement were instrumental for signing the contracts with the Egyptian Government, worth 8 billion euro for the three power plants to boost Egypt’s power generation capacity. This project was one of the most strategic national megaprojects for Egypt and in Siemens history.
El-Bagoury was born and is based in Cairo, Egypt. He is married with two kids. He earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Faculty of Commerce & Business Administration, Helwan University and has obtained his CPA (California State Board of Accountancy) in 2001.
Dalia Shoukry joined Siemens in Egypt in 2021 as its Chief Financial Officer after more than two decades in the pharmaceuticals industry. Prior to Siemens, she was AstraZeneca’s international finance director, and previously held senior financial roles based in Egypt, UK and France with responsibilities spanning Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
As CFO, Shoukry is responsible for the company’s overall financial strategy. She oversees commercial business operations, budget, accounting, treasury, tax, supply chain and other corporate functions with the overall goal to achieve the company’s aggressive business expansion strategy.
She’s the first woman to hold the CFO position for Siemens in Egypt. Shoukry was born and lives in Cairo. She earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Ain Shams University in 1997.
