Virtual Event from 16-18th of Nov everyday from 09:00 – 12:30CET

IEEE and Siemens collaborate to share insights and inspire actions for carbon neutrality

It is estimated that by 2050, 68% of the world’s population will migrate to cities and will produce approximately 75% of the world emissions. It will create both challenges and opportunities for future cities. Successful building of carbon neutral and data-driven city demands active participation in information change from all key stakeholders like technology providers, municipalities, academia, end-users, network operators and regulators.

IEEE@Siemens 2021: Nordic Smart Cities – Towards Carbon Neutrality event is a discussion forum where leading experts across the complete electricity value chain come together to share insights on emerging trends, innovations, technologies, and business models that are shaping the reality of carbon neutral cities of future.

By sharing experiences, customer expectations, best practices and successful customer journeys towards carbon-neutrality, the event aims to provide valuable insights to local municipalities, network operators and end-users in Nordic countries. By facilitating such active engagement among all relevant stakeholders, Siemens and IEEE together aim to inspire actions and collaboration among the participants to lay the solid foundations of future carbon neutral cities in Nordic region.
