Flow measurement

Since 1899, the Vandemoortele plant in Izegem, Belgium, has been providing the region with high-value frozen bakery products, packed margarines and shortenings.

Vandemoortele is using the SITRANS FC430 Coriolis flowmeter to optimize the margarine melting process with high measurement accuracy and user-friendly operation.

Suez needed greater visibility into their water usage and flow so that they could minimize water losses.

They determined that the SITRANS F M MAG 8000 would work as the heart of the system, providing accurate data on real-time water usage in each zone.

Until recently, the majority of Welsh Water's sewage pumping stations had no system in place to measure flow, necessitating potentially dangerous on-site monitoring.

SITRANS FST020 clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeters have been installed to allow for remote monitoring of wastewater flow, which helps determine whether pumps are operating efficiently.
