The COMOS Engineering Portal offers components for plant engineering online on a platform – already provided in a COMOS format. A product selector enables access to the portal in COMOS. Once selected, the components can then be simply imported in COMOS by downloading. This eliminates the need for elaborate, time-consuming customizing processes. Specifications are assigned directly to the component´s object in COMOS, saving time on engineering and ensuring maximum accuracy of the bills of material for ordering the system components. Potential error sources are minimized and costs for misplaced orders therefore reduced. The COMOS Engineering Portal is available in German, English and Chinese.
COMOS stands for company-wide workflow optimization
Our COMOS Web software solution now allows you to create individual web applications to suit your own requirements. COMOS engineering data is integrated easily into COMOS Web, where it can be edited, validated and then imported back into COMOS. This provides you with much more flexibility and mobility in your workflows. Object requests may now also be edited in COMOS Web with the possibility of bulk processing. The new 2D Client enables objects to be called without prior revision in COMOS Web. All data is thus continually up-to-date and can be seamlessly visualized in 1D, 2D or 3D. This guarantees maximum transparency and minimizes error sources.
Modularized engineering with COMOS – Centralized data storage and smart templates as a basis for digitalization
COMOS makes it possible to consistently implement modularized engineering for all disciplines – from tender preparation and engineering all the way to project completion. Using smart templates makes engineering and design extremely efficient. Smart modules give engineers and operators a high degree of bidding and planning flexibility. Offers can be prepared quickly and are placed on a solid footing for clear cost calculation. After the order is received, a large part of the basic engineering has already been completed. Modularized engineering can drastically reduce over-engineering and under-engineering. With the standardized modules, customer requests are individually and precisely implemented.
