Since the beginning, the Siemens Campus Erlangen has had the goal of being more than "just" a place for research, development and work. "Thanks to the Siemens Campus, our city is gaining a vibrant, modern urban district," emphasizes Dr. Florian Janik, Mayor of Erlangen. In line with the original concept, a variety of food, shopping and service providers are included as an integral part of the Campus. In the future, easily accessible, generous leisure and green spaces will invite people to linger for a while. People can stroll and shop along the tree-lined central thoroughfare. Cafés and restaurants offer diverse meals and drinks; everyday tasks can be taken care of on the way to or from work.
The following services will already be part of the first module.
Dean&David began in Munich in 2007 and offers fast, healthy meals using natural ingredients rich in vitamins and without flavor enhancers, colors or preservatives. From New York-style salad bars to typical Australian smoothies and juices to Asian curries and soups, a culinary world tour awaits its guests. This is a perfect match to the multicultural and multinational Siemens Campus Erlangen.
The Burgerheart restaurant has been designed especially for the Campus and is raring to go. The burgers are made of juicy beef, grilled chicken breast, barbecue cheese, vegetarian meat alternatives or vegan patties are served on a choice of four different buns. The fries are served with cheese, sauces and other side dishes. Barbecue dishes and salads round out the menu. Freshly prepared meals and an uncomplicated restaurant feeling will make guests feel at home.
Japanese restaurant with a unique atmosphere
Fresh and regional products combined with the centuries-old Japanese cuisine. The owners of the Japanese restaurant in the west of Erlangen - who have already proven their quality for many years in the restaurant Hiro Sakao in the Röthelheimpark Erlangen - now interpret the traditional Japanese cuisine in a modern and innovative way. The team is looking forward to the many guests from the Campus and all of Erlangen and already wishes them "Sayōnara, mata o ai shimashou", in English, "Farewell, until next time."
