Siemens authorizes Luso-Dana Ltda. in Luanda to serve as agency in Portuguese West Africa (Angola). Dissolved in 1963
1966
Responsibility for sales activities in Angola transferred to Siemens Portugal
1980s
Tecnidata in Luanda responsible for Siemens sales in Angola
1991
Angola is again co-supported from Portugal and managed as a sales office
2005
Business in Angola revived, initially with telecommunications products
2010
Siemens establishes a Regional Company in Angola, headquartered in Luanda
2012
Siemens wins order to maintain gas turbines for gas liquefaction plant belonging to Chevron / Sonangol – Angola LNG. Siemens supplies and installs a total of eight gas turbines at the plant
2013
Siemens builds four airports based on the CapacityPlus concept in the cities of Soyo, Dundo, Saurimo and Luena
