Orders for tantalum lamps and home appliances from the agent Hollmann & Co in Bogotá
1912
A hydroelectric power generator is supplied for Charquito power plant of Companía de Energía Bogotá
1924
Siemens-Schuckertwerke (SSW) sign an agency contract with the company AG, Hugo Stinnes
1928
Contract for the first automatic public telephone exchange for the coffee city Pereira
1954
Siemens Colombiana Ltda. (SCL) is founded in Bogotá
1954–1955
Expansion of the Colombian television network, thus a Siemens television development team is formed
1960
The company produces transformers and switchgear on its own premises in Bogotá for the first time
1964
Siemens is converted into a Sociedad Anónima (stock company) and operates under the name of Siemens Colombiana S.A.
1970
Siemens Electromedicina Ltda. is integrated into Siemens Colombiana S.A.
1971
The Regional Company changes its name to Siemens S.A.
1974
A new engine factory is built in Bogotá
1977
Siemens receives its largest order so far for the expansion of the steam power plants in Barranquilla und Cartagena
1979
Premiere of the company film Desafios to mark the Regional Company’s 25th anniversary
1982
Together with Hospitalia which it represents, the Colombian Regional Company equips 20 international hospitals with X-ray and electromedical equipment and hearing devices
1982
Telecommunication with fiber optic cables in the local digital network in Cali
1983
Corporación Eléctrica de la Costa Atlántica (CORELCA) orders 110-kV switchgear with SF6 circuit breakers for the Monteria substation
1984
A contract is signed by a German-Spanish consortium led by MAN and Siemens for a suburban railway in Medellín (completed in 1995)
1984
Regional Company installs complete system for controlling and coordinating road traffic in Bogotá
1987
Siemens starts installation of the digital electronic switching system EWSD for the Colombian telephone company ETB
1990
The Colombian Telecom commissions a radio relay system from Siemens to equip the national telephone network and in 1992 wins follow-up contract to expand the regional telephone networks
1991
Largest brewery in Colombia orders automation technology for its new brewing facility in Tibasosa
1992
Siemens implements „Plan Cáncer“ in Colombia, a nation-wide anti-cancer program for which Siemens supplies nine hospitals in eight Colombian cities with equipment for diagnosing and treating cancer
1995
As part of the reorganization of the company’s activities in South America, the four Andes countries – Colombia, Equador, Venezeula and Peru are bundled into the Economic Region Andina
1996
Siemens is to install a second telephone network in the region of Bogotá
2003
Siemens builds country-wide mobile phone network for Colombia Móvil
2003
Supply of camera surveillance systems for Colombian cities as part of UN Development Programme
2006
Together with employee cooperative FESICOL Siemens establishes the Fundación Siemens Colombia as a charitable organization in Bogotá
2009
Siemens opens "green" production facilities for all its Sectors in Tenjo, Bogotá
2012
Siemens receives order from Diaco to modernize two bar mills at its Tuta and Tocancipá locations

Siemens wins contract with the Energy Company of Bogotá (EEB) to modernize nine of its substations
