Siemens & Halske (S&H) Vienna provides numerous communities with electricity
1890
The first representative offices of S&H Vienna are opened on the territory of the Czech Republic in Prague and Brno
1895–1898
S&H Vienna constructs a municipal power plant in Brno
1920
Siemens & Co. KG is founded in Prague
1923
A Technical Bureau is opened by Siemens Vienna in Prague
1925
The "Elektrizitäts- und Maschinen AG Müglitz" and Siemens & Co. KG in Prague merge to form "Siemens Elektrizitäts AG" (SEAG) in Mohelnice
1930
Founding of the Elektrotechna Aktiengesellschaft für Schwachstromtechnik (low-current technology) in Prague
1931
Radiotechna GmbH is founded as a Siemens company in Prague
1968
A 4004/35 data processing system is supplied to the Tatra Works
1969
A technical consulting office is set up under the name of "Triga Technisches Büro Siemens Prag"
1971–1990
The export trading company Efektim functions as Siemens’ agent
1972
The first order is received from the CSSR post office for terminating equipment
1991
A Siemens company is founded with headquarters in Prague and offices in Bratislava and Brno
1993
Siemens takes over factories in Trutnov for the manufacturing of low-voltage switchgear technology
1994
The motor works of Czech state-owned company MEZ are acquired and Siemens Elektromotory s.r.o is founded
1999
Siemens founds Czech joint venture in the field of road traffic systems
2002
Order received for the delivery of 20 subway trains for the Prague metro
2004
Siemens equips the mobile phone network of Oskar Mobil in the Czech Republic with EDGE technology
2007
Siemens signs contract to take over majority stake in the Czech company OEZ, Letohrad, in the area of low-voltage switchgear and electro-installation systems
2010
First order from the Czech Republic for the turnkey construction of a photovoltaic power plant in Dobré Pole near Brno
2012
Siemens begins refurbishment of Prunerov II, the largest lignite-fired power plant in the Czech Republic
2013
Siemens wins order to supply two gear units to Voith Hydro Austria for Europe’s largest Kaplan pit turbines in the Czech Republic
