At least, it is important for us to make clear that taXchain is embedded in a non-profit organization, which was designed to be system-neutral and to provide benefits to everyone (independent of the size of your company).

taXchain is targeting primarily the tax and customs departments of large companies, who can influence the entire economy and authorities’ behavior by using taXchain. And of course, their suppliers.

KEY BENEFITS

LONG TERM SUPPLIER DECLARATIONS

FIRST USE CASE by SIEMENS & HENKEL

The initial partners of taXchain, Siemens and Henkel have joined forces to develop use cases for blockchain technology in the tax and customs function.

To start off, a first practical case was a joint blockchain application for the long term supplier declaration in the sense of Art. 62 UZK-IA in the customs area. Further use cases are to follow in the future, e.g. VAT and more (see the range below).

Long Term Supplier Declarations (LTSD) certify relevant master data information between
buyers/sellers for up to 24 months. They are necessary in order to prove a product’s or
material’s origin to profit from lower duty tariffs through free trade agreements (FTA).
