We minimize the negative impact of our activities and promote both recovery and environmental-protection projects. We systematically integrate biodiversity projects into our management systems wherever relevant, paying particular attention to our own locations. We are also developing new technologies in order to avoid unnecessary resource consumption. In Australia, for example, Siemens is contributing solutions toward better understanding complex processes in the Great Barrier Reef ecosystem, thereby helping to preserve one of the greatest natural wonders for future generations.
