Digitalization in Food & Beverage in Istanbul
The topic of the End Customer Forum held on May 24, 2017, in Istanbul was “Digitalization in Food & Beverage.” There were important contributions from the Federation of Food and Drink Industry Associations of Turkey, from Dr. Kai-Stefan Schober of the Roland Berger consultancy firm, who gave the keynote address, as well as from all the local and international experts who were present. Some 120 participants representing leading companies in the food and beverage industry attended the event, along with Siemens Solution Partners who presented their solutions in the fields of baked goods and confectionery, edible oils, milk and fruit juices, and soft drinks at booths in our mini-trade fair area.
Smart Water 2016 in Peru
On October 4th, 2016, Siemens Peru hosted an End Customer Event for the water and wastewater sector at which proven experts presented solutions and projects for the industry on an extremely high level. These included representatives of AHK Peru, the University of Lima, and the Water Board – along with experts from Siemens Peru and Colombia as well as Solution Partners. Nikolaus Rösler from Partner Management also presented the latest topics from the Partner Program for the industry.
The event was attended by almost 60 customers and followed by a trade fair at which Solution Partners, AHK Peru, the University of Lima, and Siemens were exhibitors. It proved to be the ideal forum for outstanding networking and excellent discussions.
Industrie 4.0 in the Food & Beverage Industry in the Czech Republic
The first End Customer Forum: Food & Beverage was held for the first time in the Czech Republic on September 22nd of last year. Under the banner of “Industrie 4.0 in Food & Beverage”, a team of top-quality international experts gave a number of exciting and informative talks on the challenges and trends of Industrie 4.0. Speakers included representatives of the Czech Federation of Industry and keynote speaker Philip Staehlin, Managing Director of Roland Berger GmbH.
For participants, the event was an ideal opportunity to make important contacts, present projects, and intensify cooperation. It was rounded off by an extremely lively podium discussion that clearly demonstrated our Czech partners’ openness toward and interest in the topic of Industrie 4.0.
