The RUGGEDCOM RX1500 family offers switching, routing, cybersecurity, and management functionalities in a single box.
These products do not use internal fans for cooling, operate reliably over an extended temperature range of -40° С to +85° С and are rated to IP30. They support a wide range of hot-swappable modules that can handle multiple connectivity options, including cellular (3G and LTE), WAN (T1/E1, DDS), serial, and, copper and fiber Ethernet, over the same physical infrastructure, making them ideal for power utilities, industrial plant floors, rail and traffic control systems.
Built to be secure
The new RUGGEDCOM RX1524 and RX1536 are designed for critical infrastructure industries that need to comply with stringent cybersecurity regulations. They feature several performance enhancements, including upgraded hardware, more processing power, lower latency, and cybersecurity improvements with higher IPsec throughput and faster encryption. Together with the RUGGEDCOM APE1808, they provide a reliable hardware platform to integrate third-party cybersecurity and Edge computing applications into the OT network.
