According to individual requirements, Siemens offers cold-extractive, hot-extractive, and in-situ automated monitoring systems. The portfolio is completed by emission evaluation systems for data storage, visualization, remote transmission - permitted according to TA-Luft, 13., 17., 27., 30. and 31. BImSchV.

The automated measuring system Set CEM CERT

Set CEM CERT is a standardized and certified modular continuous emission monitoring system, CEMS which is suitable for use in plants which need to comply with European legislation (13. BImSchV, 17. BImSchV, 27. BImSchV, 30. BImSchV, 44. BImSchV, TA-Luft, IED 2010/75/EU and MCPD 2015/2193/EU). The innovative CEMS meets the current quality standards of EU directives EN 14956, EN 15267 and EN 14181 (QAL1/2/3, AST).       

Modular design

The complete tested modular measuring system consists of the sampling probe, the heated sample gas line, a two stage sample gas cooler, a gas pump and up to 3 continuous gas analyzers: ULTRAMAT 23, ULTRAMAT 6, OXYMAT 6, and/or SIPROCESS UV600. 

  • Up to 2 analyzers with different measuring ranges can be configured
  • Selection of versions for indoor or outdoor installation
  • Selection of sample gas cooler and NOX converter from leading manufacturers
  • Electric heaters and air conditioners can be configured to extend the ambient temperature range
  • Selection of versions with appropriate sampling probes, heated sample gas lines

Mercury analyzer system HM-1400 TRX 

Monitoring mercury content in flue gases is becoming increasingly important. In the USA new regulations will come into effect in 2016, which could become a model for the entire EU. The total mercury analyzer in our portfolio was conceived as a standardized solution for continuous mercury monitoring: sample taking, sample preparation, and gas analysis that is automated and reliable.

HM-1400 TRX is a measuring system for fully-automatic and continuous mercury analysis in flue gas stacks gas by measuring mercury vapor (without wet chemistry). The system uses the extractive measuring principle and includes sampling probe and sampling line. The HM-1400 TRX monitors not only the performance of the mercury separators by measuring the total mercury concentration, but also reports and registers (also online) any violation of the high limits. As a result it is often possible to intervene directly in the process of the plant to be monitored and thus ensure reliable compliance with the specified limit values.
