ULTRAMAT 23 – a true all-rounderThe ULTRAMAT 23 is an innovative multi-component gas analyzer and can be equipped with the following sensors: IR detector for IR-active gases, UV photometer for UV-active gases, H2S sensor (electrochemical), O2 sensor (electrochemical or paramagnetic), and used accordingly in numerous applications and industries. The integrated automatic calibration function using ambient air is a unique advantage. This means that a test with calibration gases is only necessary once a year. Menu-guided operation in plain text allows users and service personnel to operate the device immediately. Preventive maintenance is made possible by the information in the logbook.

High selectivity due to multi-layer detectors
The multi-layer detectors used guarantee high selectivity and reduced water vapor interference. The measuring cuvettes used are robust and resistant and can be cleaned easily in case of disturbances induced by faults in the sample preparation and subsequent contamination. The electrochemical oxygen sensor is used to determine the O2 reference variable, and the hydrogen sulphide sensor extends the application range of the ULTRAMAT 23 to applications in biogas plants. The additional use of electrochemical sensors together with NDIR technology in a single basic device saves costs in sample preparation and spare parts inventory.
