SIMATIC IOT2000 SG-Shield is the easy way to remotely view measured values from load cells on the basis of strain gauges. The load cell cable is simply connected directly to the shield. The system digitalizes the analog data and sends it to the cloud via the SIMATIC IOT2050 gateway so that you can retrieve your customer’s levels at any time and adapt your delivery routes accordingly. You don’t need specialized, in-depth IT or automation expertise to set up the solution. SIMATIC IOT2000 SG-Shield comes with a Node-RED software example and all required interfaces. The system can thus be commissioned via Node-RED Dashboard and connected to the cloud. At the same time, the recorded measured values can be saved in MindSphere, our cloud-based, open IoT operating system, and retrieved using an app, such as SITRANS Store IQ. Of course, you can also connect higher-level office business systems or individual applications to monitor filling levels, thus automating order processes or your route planning, for example.
