SIMATIC HMI Basic Panels

Cost-effective operation and monitoring in the 2nd Generation
With their sophisticated HMI basic functions, SIMATIC HMI Basic Panels 2nd generation are the ideal entry-level series for simple HMI applications. The device series offers panels with 4", 7", 9" and 12" displays, and combined key or touch operation The innovative widescreen displays are high resolution with 64,000 colors. They can be installed in portrait mode and are especially energy-efficient due to their 100% dimmable brightness. The innovative user interface opens up a wide range of operations with improved usability through new controls and graphics. The USB interface allows you to connect a keyboard, mouse and barcode scanner and supports easy archiving of data on a USB stick.

Improved process quality
Visualization allows for considerably increased process quality with compact plants or smaller applications. Featuring all important HMI basic functions, SIMATIC HMI Basic Panels 2nd Generation thus open up completely new possibilities in terms of operation and monitoring also in the field of mechanical engineering at a particularly attractive price.
Like all other devices in our product range, Basic Panels 2nd Generation offer proven SIMATIC quality and, regardless of display size, numerous software functions as standard – for example, alarm logging, recipe management, trend functions and language switching.
SIMATIC HMI Basic Panels 2nd Generation - Standard devices
All devices of the SIMATIC HMI Basic Panel family are characterized by the same set of basic functions regardless the chosen size of the device. Yet, depending on the complexity of the visualization task you can choose among devices with different screen sizes and resolutions as well as numbers of function keys.
Panel for HMI tasks of limited complexity. 4 inch widescreen Touch panel with color display and 4 function keys.
The KTP400 Basic is designed for the use in PROFINET networks; particularly suitable for cramped space conditions directly at the machine especially in combination with SIMATIC S7-1200 controllers but also with other controllers.
9 inch widescreen touch panel with color display and 8 function keys
Basic Panel for HMI tasks in the medium performance range with SIMATIC S7-1200 controllers but also with other controllers. With regard to screen size and resolution the KTP900 meets higher requirements.
The KTP900 Basic is only available in a version with an Ethernet interface for the use in PROFINET networks.
12 inch widescreen touch panel with color display and 10 function keys
HMI devices for tasks in the medium performance range for the use in PROFINET or PROFIBUS networks.
The KTP1200 Basic is the ideal HMI-component for the medium and upper S7-1200 controller systems. With regard to screen size and resolution the KTP1200 meets higher requirements.
SIPLUS Basic Panels - Coated versions for extreme environmental conditions
For simple automation tasks under extreme environmental conditions, special refined SIPLUS versions are available offering increased operational reliability.
Benefits of the SIPLUS HMI Basic Panels at a glance:
- Resistance to aggressive chemical, biological, and mechanically active gases and salt mist
- Protected from condensation (ice formation is allowed!)
- High reliability across an extended temperature range (-25°C to +70°C), in the start-up phase as well as during operation
- Flexible adaptation to any application thanks to extended site altitude from –1000 to + 5000 meters
- High productivity and investment protection through minimal downtimes and performance losses
SIMATIC HMI Basic Panels 2nd Generation - Keyless devices
The three smaller PROFINET variants of the SIMATIC HMI Basic Panels are also available as keyless devices. They offer the same dimensions as the standard devices.
Operation is managed exclusively via touchscreen.
You configure the SIMATIC Basic Keyless devices the same way as the corresponding standard devices on which they are based. However, the configured function keys have no effect.
SIMATIC HMI TP400 Basic Keyless
Panel for HMI tasks of limited complexity.
4 inch widescreen Touch panel with color display and a neutral design front.
The TP400 Basic is designed for the use in PROFINET networks; particularly suitable for cramped space conditions directly at the machine especially in combination with SIMATIC S7-1200 controllers but also with other controllers.
SIMATIC HMI TP700 Basic Keyless
7 inch widescreen touch panel with color display and a neutral design front
Basic Panel for HMI tasks in the lower and medium performance range with SIMATIC S7-1200 controllers but also with other PLCs.
The TP700 Basic is only available in a version with an Ethernet interface for the use in PROFINET networks.
SIMATIC HMI TP900 Basic Keyless
9 inch widescreen touch panel with color display and a neutral design front.
Basic Panel for HMI tasks in the medium performance range with SIMATIC S7-1200 controllers but also with other controllers. With regard to screen size and resolution the TP900 meets higher requirements.
The TP900 Basic is only available in a version with an Ethernet interface for the use in PROFINET networks.
