GAMMA instabus - Display and operation
Everything under control – with the right display and operator units
The comprehensive portfolio of display and operator units from Siemens meets all the requirements of modern room and building usage. It offers a variety of models for the display and operation of lighting, shading, heating, ventilation and air conditioning – from simple pushbuttons and room thermostats to multifunctional room operator units as well as webbased systems. The devices are based on open standards like KNX, IP and BACnet. Wireless solutions on the basis of infrared and radio technology complete the offering. In addition, the wide range of designs enables a harmonious integration into different installation environments.
Discover how GAMMA display and operation units create perfect places
Using display and operation units, the room functions can be comfortably controlled and changed at any time cross-disciplinary and independent of the automatic control of the room automation, the room‘s climate can be changed manually to individual comfort values.
Flexible, intuitive operation via editable graphic user interfaceLighting, solar protection, heating, ventilation and air conditioning can be displayed via web-compatible end devices such as PCs, laptops, smart phones or tablets – and this with different individually tailored icons, pictures and graphics.
Maximum flexibility and reduced planning work due to the modular system
The implementation of the Bus Transceiver Modul interface (BTI) with the bus transceiver module (BTM) ensures maximum flexibility and an impressive range of functions. Bus coupling units and flush-mounting actuators with integrated BTM enable the use of GAMMA display/operator interfaces, such as pushbuttons, room temperature controllers and operation nits in a wide range of designs. Thus, all GAMMA instabus operator interfaces with BTI interface in the design lines, i-system and DELTA style can be combined with either a BTM or a flush-mounting actuator with BTM.
This reduces planning work and facilitates installation and commissioning. The application programs of the flush-mounting actuatros are identical to those of the functionally equivalent devices from the modular room control range. This means that all devices have the same standard application program – regardless of mounting type – whether flush-mounting, with of without mounting frame – or whether designed for installation in the room control box and automation module box.
