What is it about?
Sizing and selecting control valves for a hydronic network with variable flow is often based on the design situation.
Experience shows that the behavior at part-load conditions of these variable flow hydronic networks is very important and should already be taken into consideration during the design phase.
This webinar will look at valve sizing and the selection of standard control valves (kVS) and their behavior at part-load conditions in combination with controlled pumps.
In addition, it will consider different control approaches and then compare a conventional situation with a current setup using PICVs (pressure independent control valves).
The effect of these various approaches on energy efficiency will also be taken into consideration and compared.
