Easily determine and compare harmonics distortion levels to industry standards
The proliferation of renewables (Inverter Based Resources) in the power system is increasing the number of Harmonic Distortions. Network planners, such as yourself, now need to consider Harmonic distortions, according to industry standards, to better prepare mifor tigatory actions detrimental to system operations and power quality. With the new Harmonics add-on module, you can now:
- Easily analyze harmonic distortion levels and perform a frequency scan
- Compare generated harmonic results with industry standards using user-defined filters

Time Series Power Flow
Automate the analysis of power flow simulations considering multiple time-points
In the past, short-term planning studies considered only a limited set of data, such as static peak and off-peak data. This is no longer sufficient as the grid becomes more dynamic and less predictable. Planning studies need to consider more time points to drill down to the actual worst-case scenarios.
By introducing time-series data into planning studies, planning engineers can increase the accuracy of short-term planning decisions (outage planning/operations planning) based on more realistic scenarios.
With the new Time-series Power Flow add-on module, you can now:
- Define detailed load and generation profiles for any time interval (e.g. minutes, hours, days)
- Automate the creation of cases and streamline the solving of hundreds of thousands of power flow solutions
