Andreas Jahr - Speaker

After his graduation from the Friedrich-Alexander-University as an Electrical engineer in 2010, Andreas joined an engineering company, working for German TSOs and DSOs for planning substations. January 2013 he switched to Siemens as a consultant for network calculation and protection settings.  Starting September 2016, he is now the Product Manager for the SIPROTEC line differential protection and associated communication products.  With extensive industry, customer, and protection experience, Andreas is the ideal partner to lead this upcoming Expert Workshop. 

Gustav Steynberg

Gustav Steynberg - Speaker

After his graduation from the University of Cape Town as an Electrical engineer, Gustav joined Eskom where he worked for 9 years in various capacities including senior engineer with protection design. After leaving South Africa he joined Siemens in Nürnberg where he has worked for the past 27 years with sales, product management and promotion. Presently in the capacity of technical expert he supports both Siemens colleagues and customers in all areas of feeder protection with training, application notes and test support. With extensive industry, customer, and protection experience, Gustav is the ideal partner to lead this upcoming Expert Workshop.
