Jose Moreira - Speaker

Jose Moreira is the National Manager of Digital Grid at Siemens Australia, responsible for the company’s portfolio of Grid Control and Metering products, SCADA systems, protection and control equipment systems, microgrids and software services. Jose began his career with Siemens in Brazil in 2000 as an Electrical Engineer, working on power systems and energy automation projects.  Subsequent roles have provided him deep experience with power systems, energy automation, software development and project management in diverse industries including renewables, infrastructure, transportation and manufacturing.

Amiram Roth-Deblon (juwi) - Speaker

Amiram Roth-Deblon leads global business initiatives at juwi AG. His role includes establishing juwi as a leader in hybrid power systems. This started with Degrussa Copper in 2016, the world’s first utility scale solar battery hybrid at a mine site, and has been followed by numerous other projects and world’s first such as Agnew Gold in 2019 (solar, wind, battery) and the current flagship project Sukari; the world’s largest solar hybrid at an Off-grid mine. He reports to the COO of juwi AG. Amiram has been working in the renewable energy industry for more than 21 years and holds two degrees in Electrical Engineering from Germany and the United Kingdom.

Taiyab Shamim - Speaker

Taiyab Shamim graduated as an Electrical Engineer from Aligarh Muslim University, India and joined Siemens in Energy Automation department. He started with engineering & commissioning of  energy automation and worked with multiple power utilities and industries. Since 2016 he is working in Digital Grid headquarter in Germany as technical sales & promoter for Industry solutions providing technical support to the regions globally.
