Low Power Instrument Transformers LPITs are innovative voltage and current transformers providing a safe, reliable and standardized solution for measurement and protection applications in GIS with improved measurement performance as well as smaller size and weight. In this webinar you will learn about LPITs in combination with SIPROTEC 5 based on the application note ‘APN-090‘.

Experience the parametrization of the SIPROTEC 5 input output module IO240 dedicated for the use with Low Power Instrument Transformers (LPITs) in a Siemens Energy GIS.
Especially the effect of the LPIT characteristics on the configuration of the protection functions in SIPROTEC 5 IEDs are highlighted. In addition, the webinar provides an introduction in LPIT technology and its testing.

Join our technical experts Thomas Neumeier - Siemens AG, and Peter Menke - Siemens Energy for their presentation and discussion of the application note.
