Speakers and Moderator

Cédric Harispuru

Cédric Harispuru- Speaker

After his graduation from Centrale Supélec and the University of Darmstadt,  Cédric Harispuru joined Siemens AG in 2006. He is Product Lifecycle Manager and Senior Key Expert for Engineering Tools in the energy automation. He is responsible for SIPROTEC DigitalTwin, SIPROTEC Tools and IEC 61850 engineering.

He is member of IEC TC57 WG10

Christian Romeis

Christian Romeis - Speaker

After graduating from Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg as Dr.-Ing. in 2017, he joined the protection, operation, and control department within Siemens PTI. As a power system consultant, he works in different international projects regarding protection system design, protection system coordination and Hardware-in-the-Loop testing with real-time simulators.

His expertise covers the spectrum from protection relays to wide area monitoring, protection, and control systems.

Andrea Bonetti

Andrea Bonetti - Speaker

Andrea Bonetti is a master science electrotechnical engineer from Sapienza University of Rome, Italy.

He has 18 years of experience as HV power system protection specialist at ABB, Sweden, 7 years at Megger in Stockholm, as product manager and technical specialist for testing and 5 years as consultant in power system protection and IEC 61850 applications. He is member of IEC standardization committees on protection functions and IEC 61850 and guest lecturer at Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm.

Niclas Wetterstrand

Niclas Wetterstrand - Speaker

Niclas has in his whole carrier been working with electrical test equipment for the Power Sector. He started with Megger Sweden (formerly PROGRAMMA) in 1992 and have been in various roles such as Production Management, Quality, Commercial Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Product Management and Sales.

Niclas is currently a Business Development Director (BDD) for protection at Megger group and is responsible for the strategic planning of Megger test equipment within relay protection, circuit breaker, instrument transformer and primary testing. Niclas is a frequent speaker at international conferences.

Luis Francisco

Luis Francisco - Moderator

Years after he graduated from the Technological Institute of Santo Domingo (INTEC) as an Electrical Engineer, Luis moved to Spain to study an MBA in Energy in the Nebrija Business School and then joined Siemens as a Sales Engineer of Protection and afterwards became proposal manager of Substation Automation Systems. Since 2012, he moved to Germany where he occupied several roles in Business Development and Sales within Digital Grid in Nuremberg and Power Transmission Solutions in Erlangen. He is now part of the Customer Service department where he develops the service portfolio, cloud-based platforms, applications, and business as Service Lifecycle Manager.
