Mechanical Drive

Due to its vast experience working in the worst environmental conditions, Siemens engines are also used as mechanical drivers for rotating equipment, such that located in oil wells. The reciprocating engine fuelled normally by well gas, treated to avoid contaminants which could reduce the engine life, drives the well’s water injection pumps. The pressurised water pushes the oil from the bottom of the well towards the outside, keeping not only the production rate but also the pressure of the well at constant levels. Siemens Engines are also highly appreciated in water pumping for irrigated fields. The engine drives the irrigation water pump to provide water to the cultivated fields. Due to their great performance, efficiency and low emissions level, they provide the best clean, efficient and reliable solution for this type of application.
