Information on the Covid-19 situation

Siemens is continuously monitoring all aspects of the Covid-19 situation, evaluating all new developments and in line with the recommendations of public authorities is taking all necessary measures to safeguard the health, safety and well-being of all employees. It is our duty to act responsibly in order to protect our societies.


We do our best to maintain business continuity and offer our services to continue to support our customers and partners. This is particularly important in areas in which, together with customers, we provide products and services for vital sectors. As we do this, the health and safety of our employees and our partners are always a top priority. 


Ever since the Covid-19 outbreak began, Siemens has been continuously implementing timely measures to protect its employees and its partners, and the company will continue to do so rigorously.

Selected measures already implemented


We make our employees aware of the need for social distancing and keep them up-to-date with the latest guidance, while we remind them regularly the hygiene rules that they should follow.



There’s currently no general travel ban at Siemens. We advise our employees to refrain from trips that aren’t absolutely necessary.Travelling for critical business projects is reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Personal meetings have been replaced by conference calls or other digital options.

Mobile work

More that 90% of Siemens employees in Greece is working from home, where possible, until further notice. Our digital tools and technology allow us to  guarantee and ensure the company's seamless operation, at all times without interruption.
