Siemens building automation and control systems components work together perfectly

At Lake Lucerne in central Switzerland, the lake water is used as an eco-friendly energy source for the HVAC system of Bürgenstock Resort, Switzerland's largest hotel complex. Around 300 cubic metres of water are pumped onto the mountain hourly for heating and cooling. Numerous Siemens products have been installed for building management on the mountain. A total of 60 control cabinets with about 10,000 data points are now situated in the resort's twenty buildings. Siemens building automation ensures highly efficient and intuitive HVAC operation – with demand-driven power supply and distribution, decentralized automation stations, perfectly coordinated ventilation and seamless recording and visualisation of all resort data.
