Siemens Indonesia and its employees have demonstrated their profound concern for the victims of the tsunami and earthquake in Central Sulawesi province of Indonesia. The company's fundraising campaign which was participate by the employees and matched by the company collected more than IDR 863 million in monetary donations to support those affected by the earthquake and its aftermath through the Indonesian Red Cross.

The deadly magnitude-7.4 earthquake which was followed by a tsunami on September 28, 2018 that struck Central Sulawesi have killed at least 2,100 people, injuring more than 10,000 others and forcing more than 87,000 people to flee their homes and seek safety.

Ir. Ginandjar Kartasasmita.

Siemens Indonesia and its employees have also provided equipment and monetary help to victims of the Aceh tsunami in 2004, Jogjakarta earthquakes in 2006, Padang earthquake in 2009, Mentawai tsunami and Mount Merapi eruption in 2010, and Lombok earthquake in 2018.
