The SIMATIC PCS 7 BOX compact control system can be used both stand-alone and in a plant network. It concentrates all essential components of a control system, automation system (AS), operator station (OS) and engineering system (ES), in one of the compact assembly technology. The special aspect: SIMATIC PCS 7 BOX can be expanded without restriction - without any incompatibilities - because it uses standard components from SIMATIC PCS 7. Further hardware and software components can therefore be added at any time.
Two product variants are available: with integrated software controller or with external controller (modular or embedded automation systems).
