It thus supports the implementation of diverse technological and industry-specific functions such as operation and monitoring via SIMATIC HMI Comfort Panels or the integration of SIMATIC S7 Package Units. The SIMATIC PCS 7 Industry Library is based on tried and tested industry libraries, e.g. from the fields of water/wastewater and building automation.
Communication modules enable standardized communication between PCS 7 controllers and S7-1500 with TIA portal. This ensures simple project planning and fast fault detection. The Industry Library also fully supports the use of SIMATIC HMI Comfort Panels. These on-site operating units ensure detailed display of process images, guarantee fast image build-up and offer various interfaces such as Ethernet or USB.
