The Siemens Digitalization Days in Kazakhstan will bring together representatives from government and the private sector, topic experts and trendsetters to illustrate this future. Join our interactive technology demonstrations and immersive discussions showcasing how digitalization is enabling companies and organizations to do things better than ever before.
In Astana, Almaty, Atyrau and Kyzylorda we will also talk about Siemens’ innovation strategy for the next years and discuss how innovative solutions – especially from the field of digitalization – are creating value for our customers.
Agenda
Comos for Industry 4.0
Increasing international competition makes it more and more important for plant design engineers and plant operating personnel to boost productivity and quality. To minimize design cost and time, and maximize equipment uptime plant engineers and operating personnel must optimize their workflows. The success factors involved in achieving these goals are continuous innovation and consistent data management using an optimum software solution concept. Life Cycle Engineering, combined with the leading-edge COMOS software, is the solution for achieving these goals: COMOS supports end-to-end plant asset management across the entire lifecycle of an industrial plant.
Smart Grid
Given the dramatic changes in the energy system, grids must be able to flexibly manage bidirectional power flow and intermittency, and the entire system and its operations must be absolutely safe and secure. At the same time, new capacities need to be added, existing equipment updated, and grid operation optimized to make the entire infrastructure fit for the future. The integration of renewable energy into existing grids poses new challenges because of fluctuating demand, increasing distances between power generation and consumption, and the need for more cost-efficient infeed of power from renewables. None of this will work without making grids smarter, i.e. utilizing the potential of digitalization.
Digital Power Plant
A data-supported approach to power plant operations and maintenance represents a fundamental shift in thinking about service in the energy sector. Plant operators and energy generators are able to manage the performance of energy assets, lower operation and maintenance costs, reduce failure rates and achieve the highest return on investment.
This session will cover Fleet Center Solutions, Cyber Security Solutions, Performance Optimization Services, Instrumentation & Edge Services as well as Digital Lifecycle Services.
Building Information Modeling
Building information modeling (BIM) is the equivalent of digitalization in the construction industry: It is a digitally supported process for planning, constructing and operating buildings that enables a significant productivity increase in the construction industry.
Process Automation for Digitalization in the Oil & Gas Industry
The transition from Integrated Engineering to Integrated Operations is an important step on the way to Industry 4.0 for our customers in the process industries.
Comos for Industry 4.0 Workshop
Workshop will provide hands-on experience of how COMOS supports end-to-end plant asset management across the entire lifecycle of an industrial plant.
Power Technologies Innovation
From strategic advisory to technical consulting and state-of the art software solutions: Siemens Power Technologies International (Siemens PTI) offers a holistic approach to mastering the technical and economical challenges of today’s and future energy systems. Drawing upon more than 60 years of experience and continuous innovations in power system planning, Siemens PTI’s is an partner to develop individual, innovative solutions which create sustainable value for our customers and turn change into opportunities.

Cloud for Building Technology/Energy Efficiency
Buildings represent 40% of primary energy use globally, and energy consumption in buildings is projected to rise sustainably.
At the same time increasing resource scarcity, legal risks and growing operating costs as well as different requirements from different users, are just some of the challenges that need to be taken into consideration when thinking about energy efficiency and sustainable buildings.
With systematic approaches adapted to the lifecycle of your building supported by services, products and technologies from Siemens you'll not only benefit long-term from lower energy costs but also from a higher building value and a positive public image.
Digitalization in O&G
The concept of integrated operation, often also called the Digital Oil Field, is a combination of IT, automation, and instrumentation to improve the existing technologies in the Oil and Gas industry. It aims at faster and easier data analysis through efficient data management, providing a more realistic image of the reservoir and the availability of resources, helping to optimize the production process, and rendering operations safer through remote surveillance and collaborative environments.
