We all see, hear and feel that our company is going through great changes right now and with this can come with some unpleasant emotions – uncertainty, discomfort, fear – you name it!

And sometimes these feelings leak into our behavior and into the workplace environment – and you know what? That’s normal, because we are all human.

But, did you know science has proven that our actions and emotions are contagious?

This means that each one of us harbors the power to put tiny drops of goodness – positivity, kindness, gratitude and more – into our environment. These drops can grow into an ocean of positivity.

The Be Positive pillar will seek to raise awareness, encourage self-reflection, and inspire self-guided behavioral change through various activities.

Mental Health

The Mental Health pillar will provide resources to help employees cope with stress in a healthy manner. Activities associated with these pillar seek to promote mental well-being at work.

Engagement

The Engagement pillar will encourage employees to be engage in topics and activities that result to a positive and collaborative culture at work

Trust

The Trust pillar will promote teamwork across the organization and encourage cross-team practices to increase trust among the employees.

Growth Mindset

The Growth Mindset pillar will seek to drive the change in attitude, behavior, and mindsets at scale, improving organizational performance and adaptability.

The Breaking silos pillar seeks to build strong relationships between departments and foster a greater cross-functional collaboration across Siemens.

#BeRested

Rest is ceasing work and worry. It is “being, rather than doing.” Only when the whole system – mind and body – are engaged in a restful state can we truly recharge. The brain needs downtime to remain productive, gain perspective and generate innovative ideas.

#BeGrateful

Gratitude is a thankful appreciation for what an individual receives, whether tangible or intangible. With gratitude, people acknowledge the goodness in their lives. In the process, people usually recognize that the source of that goodness lies at least partially outside themselves.

#BePositive

Positive thinking means approaching life’s challenges with a positive outlook. It does not mean avoiding or ignoring the bad things; instead, it involves making the most of the potentially bad situations, trying to see the best in other people, and viewing yourself and your abilities in a positive light.
