Siemens grants software to universities across the nation to foster digitalization in Myanmar

-820 software licenses granted to 35 universities and more in planning -Siemens’ commitment aims to bring advantage to Myanmar through the updates on future trends and technologies

Siemens Limited supports education of university students by granting software packages to universities for technical training on automation technologies. The granting ceremony was held on 7th September at Thanlyin Technological University with the presence of 35 universities representatives who received the software packages. The software granting will also be extended to vocational schools nationwide.


The ceremony marked the collaboration between Siemens and universities in Myanmar in order to help them enhance students’ capability in automation, which currently has been playing a significant role in the manufacturing industry. Siemens will be providing software and documentation for technical training, together with training and support for software installation on equipments for trainers/staff of the universities.
