Edge tutorial 8

This tutorial shows how image analytics can be used to detect the toolwear status or breakage of a tool or tool insert used in CNC manufacturing. After this session, you will have an overview of how to set up your operational environment in order to acquire image training data, label image training data, initiate the training of artificial intelligence models, and deploy the models to perform inferencing directly on your Edge device. You will also learn how to trigger your models from the user interface, or directly from SINUMERIK. The tutorial also highlights how you can manage the results of your models for quality analysis purposes.
