SinuTrain machine configuration

Creating machine image in SinuTrain with a commissioning archive

SinuTrain for SINUMERIK Operate also supports customized machine configurations. This means that a programmer obtains an NC-programming station that is adapted to his particular machine.

Machine image in the offline programming software

Several machine OEMs support their customers with specifically adapted configuration files that they provide. These represent a 1:1 image of the machining center, and include all of the cycles integrated by Siemens and the machine OEM. This simplifies programming and allows perfect results to be quickly obtained. An original CNC kernel means that 3D simulation allows NC programs to be verified almost 100% offline.

Even users with machines whose manufacturers do not offer configuration files can import their machines into SinuTrain: The Workbench integrated in SinuTrain for SINUMERIK Operate from version 4.7 offers an optional function for importing the machine tool commissioning archive into SinuTrain.

Tutorial - Creating a machine configuration

In the following tutorial, you will learn how to create a machine archive of a machining center and import it as a new machine configuration in SinuTrain for SINUMERIK Operate V4.7.

Machine import to SinuTrain requires a valid SinuTrain license that matches the SINUMERIK Operate-Version of the machine.

The machine configuration tool is an option for SinuTrain for SINUMERIK Operate.
