Interpolation turning (video)

Interpolation turning" is a technology in which a turning tool rotates around a stationary workpiece. The function is available on CNCs of the SINUMERIK 828D and SINUMERIK 840D sl series from software version 4.95 SP1 and on SINUMERIK ONE from software version 6.15.

In ShopMill programming, the interpolation turning function can be selected directly. For programming via programGuide, there is the new Cycle 806 cycle, which selects the transformation for interpolation turning.
