Simply more possibilities

The uniform operating concept simply offers more possibilities: The modular gas analyzer SIPROCESS GA700 has three housing types and the flexibility of three mix-and-match modules to choose from. This means you can use rack or wall-mounted housings and can combine two of the three modules OXYMAT 7, ULTRAMAT 7, or CALOMAT 7. SIPROCESS GA700 with its impressively reliable measurements, is optimized for a variety of applications, and is equipped with device internal interfering gas correction. Commissioning is also very simple thanks to the Plug & Measure principle: You just insert the modules, connect the cables, switch on, and measure. As soon as the modules are installed, they are automatically configured in their basic settings. Gas analysis with the SIPROCESS GA700 means high service friendliness and a uniform operating concept. Gas analysis has never been easier.

The new SIPROCESS GA700 series of gas analyzers makes it possible to combine up to two modules in one housing: in either a wall-mounted housing or in a 19" rack housing with three different height units, depending on individual requirements.

Overview of options for wall-mounted and rack housings:

 

  • Both the wall-mounted and rack housing options with IP 65 protection class have ATEX and IEC Ex approval.
  • With class Ex p protection the pressurized wall-mounted unit can be operated together with an approved purging unit in Zone 1 for measuring both flammable or non-flammable gases.
  • With class Ex nR protection, the restricted breathing wall-mounted unit can be operated in Zone 2 with measuring gases with concentrations always below the lower explosion limit (LEL).
  • With a suitable exterior casing, the 19" rack housing with class Ex nA protection can be operated in Zone 2 with measuring both flammable and non-flammable gases.

Both housings can be used in environments with an ambient temperature of up to 50 °C (122 °F) and are equipped with the simple, easy-to-understand operating concept of the new SIPROCESS GA700 series.

In addition to flexible modules, the innovative SIPROCESS GA700 series also includes a new housing type: the Ex d field device with pressure-resistant enclosure. It contains a field operating device consisting of an Ex d casing with attached Ex e connection housing plus a connected Ex d field module.

Three advantages in one housing

 

The combination of both types of ignition protection in the field operating device offers three major advantages:

  • Easy modification and commissioning of the analytical device thanks to terminals in the Ex e housing
  • High availability, since the Ex d housing does not usually have to be opened on site
  • Less maintenance due to quick replacement of connection components

The pressure-resistant encapsulated housing of the field module contains an OXYMAT analysis module with an extended temperature range of up to +60 °C and IP 65 class protection. This makes operation in harsh environments a possibility. The uniform operating concept of the SIPROCESS GA700 simplifies operation, and because the field operating device and field module are mounted separately on site, it also offers greater flexibility.

The ULTRAMAT 7 offers high selectivity and measuring precision in complex gas mixtures as well as low maintenance costs due to easy on-site cleaning of the analysis cuvettes. In addition, the ULTRAMAT 7 features an integrated interfering gas correction option. It is also equipped with a preventive maintenance function. This lets you know ahead of time when upcoming maintenance is required.

User-friendly application

The operating concept is based on a clearly structured menu with extensive user support. For example, when putting the installation to use for the first time, an installation assistant guides the user through the installation with easy-to-understand and clear instructions. The software is available in several different languages, making it ideal for global use.  The module can be operated in a rack or wall-mounted housing up to 45 °C (113 °F) regardless of the ambient temperature. The ULTRAMAT 7 can be implemented in measuring boiler control systems in incineration plants, or in process gas measurements in chemical plants.

With its long service life, the SIPROCESS GA700 OXYMAT 7 is an exceptionally reliable measuring instrument and can even handle small measuring ranges (0 to 0.5% O2). But that’s not all: With its vibration compensation and physically suppressed zero point (99.5 to 100% O2), it delivers very reliable and precise measurements.

The software is available in several different languages, making it ideal for global use.  The module can be operated in either a rack or wall-mounted device, regardless of ambient temperature, in up to 50 °C (122 °F), and in the Ex d field device in up to 60 °C (140 °F).

 

The advantages of the OXYMAT 7 make it indispensable for boiler control in incineration plants and environmental protection or for quality assurance in purity monitoring.
