SIPLUS extreme Controllers

Saleable automation solutions offer the advantage of perfect adaptability to individual requirements whereby resources and expenses are reduced.

Besides the characteristics of the Basic Controller with integrated and decentral IO’s, PROFINET interface for programming and can provide the following advantages for three different variants:

• Variant 1: conformal coating version for use in corrosive surroundings

• Variant 2: additional enlarged negative temperature range up to -40 °C (in operation)

• Variant 3: additional through the equipment of the self-service mounting slots with a cooling element for the extended use up to +70°C

As the biggest model amongst the Advanced Controllers the SIPLUS extreme 1500 variant is the tool of choice particularly for challenging tasks.
The CPU rows 1511, 1512, 1516 and the high-end model 1518 are able to meet the highest demands due to their refining and resist even temperatures up to 70°C thanks to especially developed cooling elements.

From the stand-alone machine to complete plants the SIPLUS extreme S7-1500 offers the perfect controlling solution by free scalability and high system performance, that in the future enough system resources are available for increasingly complex tasks.

SIPLUS extreme S7-1500 CPUs is available in three level of refining:

SIMATIC S7-300 is especially designed for system solutions such as required in the automobile or oil & gas industry.
The diverse range of components can be used task-specific for central extensions or development of decentral structures. They enable an cost-effective spares inventory.

Thanks to its conformal coating the SIPLUS extreme S7-300 is suitable for temperatures from -40°C up to 70°C (thereby they fulfill the EN50155 standard).

The SIPLUS extreme S7-400 is used for system solutions as well as production and process technology.

It is particularly suitable for data-intensive tasks and also fulfills the requirements of observing deterministic response times.

The SIPLUS extreme ET 200SP CPUs with PROFINET have a lot of functions which are known from the SIPLUS extreme S7-1500 products. These include amongst others the integrated trace function, system diagnoses, integrated safety, webserver and the complete symbolic programming. With three Ethernet-ports (two as bus adapter) it provides many connection options and is, depending on the requirements, available in two different versions.

• Conformal coating version with temperature extension from -25°C to 60°C

• Fail-safe version with conformal coting and temperature extension from -25°C to 60°C

The interface modules with integrated CPU can be used both in stand-alone mode and for distributed automation solutions with a medium- sized program. They correspond to an S7-300 CPU and enable distributed preprocessing of the production data. Depending on the version, communication can be performed via MPI/PROFIBUS and/or PROFINET. 
The safety-related, intelligent SIPLUS interface modules IM 151-7 F-CPU for the ET 200S are designed to meet the demands of the lower performance range. They can be expanded in a centralized configuration with the safety ET 200S I/O modules or distributed via PROFIBUS or PROFINET. The SIPLUS extreme ET 200S station can also be used as stand-alone, i.e. without PROFIBUS or PROFINET connection. 
Both modules comply with safety requirements up to SIL 3 according to IEC 61508, IEC 62061 and Cat. 4 according to EN 954-1.

The SIPLUS extreme S7-400 is used for system solutions as well as production and process technology.

It is particularly suitable for data-intensive tasks and fulfills even meets the requirements to comply with the deterministic response times.
