SIMOTICS HV C air-cooled is the new ultracompact, extremely reliable transnorm motor for applications in areas with no risk of explosion – as well as for hazardous Zones 2 and 22 (Ex ec and Ex tc). The real highlight is the revolutionary cooling concept, which is used for all air-cooled versions of this platform. Fin cooling, tube cooling and an internal cooling circuit are smartly combined. You benefit from its unique power density which is approximately 10 – 15 % higher power output from the same frame size. The innovative and vibration-optimized design concept provides you with unmatched possibilities for flexible integrating the drives in plants and systems, by reducing cabling costs in parallel. And by using the optional SIMOTICS CONNECT 600 connector box, SIMOTICS HV C can be integrated into the digital SIDRIVE IQ platform, you can leverage opportunities with digitalization and your drive system can subsequently be optimized.
