Siemens, Inc. Digital Industries recently conducted the Food & Beverage Automation Forum last July 6, 2022 at the New World Hotel in Makati City. As one of its firt series of face to face customer events, the company hosted a dialogue for a small group of F&B manufacturers in order to showcase the latest solutions in automation and digitalization and learn about the challenges that the industry faces during the COVID-19 pandemic.

With the enforcement of Republic Act 11285 or the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act of the Philippines, Siemens also raised awareness about the importance of energy management and sustainability in the manufacturing sector. The forum also featured the showcase of BRAUMAT and SISTAR, a key process control system in the F&B industry.
Food and Beverage is an important industry in the Philippines, representing half of the country’s manufacturing activities in the last three years. As a consumer-driven economy, the country relies on its rising population with increasing consumer demand. In the years to come, the industry will be shaped by key drivers leading to greater efficiency and productivity in manufacturing.
