The advances in digitalization are opening up new possibilities, especially in engineering. With the TIA Selection Tool, configuring engineers can configure an entire project with just a few entries, regardless of whether they are beginners or pros. No detailed knowledge of the portfolio is required for this. Thus, selecting and configuring the device for any automation project can be done quickly and conveniently, using just one tool.
With the downloadable desktop version of the TIA Selection Tool, it is possible to work with the latest product portfolio without an existing Internet connection. It is possible to work across teams in the web-based cloud version. With this version, however, it is not possible yet to access all of the functions and Siemens products offered by the desktop version. Configuration options can be put together and tested in advance in both versions. A library is available for archiving sample configurations. Importing and exporting the hardware configuration to/from other systems (e.g. TIA Portal, Siemens Industry Mall, CAx Download Manager) is not a problem.
With just a few clicks, you can select the right devices from the SIRIUS portfolio for your project and now also use all the advantages of the TIA Selection Tool in reference to the SIRIUS portfolio of industrial controls.
