Adrian Wood
Chief Executive Officer of Siemens Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain
Adrian K. Wood has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Siemens in Qatar since September 1, 2016 and Siemens in Kuwait and Bahrain since June 1, 2020.
Adrian’s dedicated career with Siemens spans 35 years having joined the company in 1984 as a Marketing Analyst for Siemens Environmental Systems.
Over the years, Adrian’s career has taken him across multiple geographies and functional areas which include sales, marketing, business development, project management, general management, and other managerial positions within the company’s headquarter operations in Germany.
Adrian has an intimate knowledge of the region having worked in senior leadership positions throughout the EMEA for more than 20 years. He has served as CEO for Siemens Kuwait, Siemens Bahrain, and as the Head of Renewable Energy for the MENA region from Siemens’ Middle East headquarters.
Adrian also led Siemens’ operations as CEO in the Philippines including its Energy, Healthcare, and Industry sectors.
Adrian holds an Honours degree in Computer Science from Coventry University in the UK.
Chief Financial Officer of Siemens Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman
Mauro is the Chief Financial Officer of Siemens Qatar W.L.L. since April 1, 2017. In addition to his current role, he also assumed the CFO role for Siemens Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman in 2020.
Mauro’s career at Siemens spans over 16 years across the EMEA region where he’s worked in various functional areas including Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Human Resources, and general management.
Prior to moving to the Middle East, Mauro was responsible for the Commercial function for Energy Management, Transmission Solutions for Italy, as well as the Nordic and Balkan Countries.
In 2013, Mauro moved to Dubai to become CFO of Osram Middle East FZE where he was also General Illumination Cluster Sales Controller for Middle East, Africa and Turkey. He then assumed the position of Country Divison Controller for Energy Management in Siemens Qatar in 2016.
Mauro holds a Master of Science Degree in Law and Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan, Italy.
