Our company’s proud history dates back to the 1930s where it all began with a single engineer and grew into today’s 2,000 employees. We are proud to continuously deliver innovative solutions to our customers, partners and the society in Saudi Arabia, as well as significantly contribute to the development of the country's infrastructure.

Who We Are?

Our relationship with the Arabian Peninsula dates back to the mid 1800s when Werner von Siemens personally led a team to lay telegraphic cables under the Red Sea. In the 1930s, the first business transaction took place in Saudi Arabia, when visionary local businessmen first imported Siemens power generation equipment to the Kingdom. The initial investment laid the foundation for the sophisticated power infrastructure found today in the Kingdom, whereby 1/3rd of electricity generated is by Siemens technology.

Siemens sent its first resident engineer to Saudi Arabia in 1952 to better serve the company’s rapidly growing customer base here. A decade later, E.A. Juffali & Brothers Co. and Siemens AG set up an agency, which is still the corner stone of a successful partnership with a modern day joint venture. Today, with almost 2000 employees along with E.A. Juffali as a strong local partner, we continue to deliver on our pledge of contributing to the socio-economic development of Saudi Arabia.

We Make Real What Matters to Saudi Arabia

To make real what matters to Saudi Arabia, we assessed our value to the Kingdom’s society from an outside-in perspective. We started by identifying what matters to the Kingdom and its people in terms of economic growth, development of human capital, innovation, environmental protection, quality of life and transformation of a society.

To understand KSA’s priorities meant digging for new data, having deeper conversations with key stakeholders and understanding the Kingdoms real potential and vision. It meant identifying what is important to KSA. Our journey involved analyzing and contemplating visionary documents that chart the way forward for KSA. These included the Vision 2030, National Transformation Program (NTP) and understanding of the global megatrends and their impact on the economic and social fabric of the Kingdom. This process reminded us of our role in working with society, for society. It highlighted the complexity of our relationship with the people of Saudi Arabia, its government, and our customers, suppliers and business partners. Most of all, it taught us how we can equitably measure our impact on the most vital issues, and in doing so impact each and every stakeholder.
