Experience/what I did before my existing role

  • I have a background in chemical engineering and risk management and has worked as a risk management consultant since 2006. Before joining Aon I worked as Senior Consultant at Lloyds Register Consulting with risk management services for nuclear and oil & gas industry. I worked for a wide range of clients both in Sweden and internationally and my key competence was Process safety, Risk and Reliability studies.

 

My existing role

  • I work as Senior Risk Consultant for major global clients with residence in the Nordics. Special focus area is the Mining industry, Power Generation and Chemical process industry. Functional expertise areas as well as industry experience is for example Loss prevention audits, Risk management strategies, Business Impact Analysis and Enterprise Risk Management.

Experience/what I did before my existing role

  • I have a background as technical lead engineer in the automation software design and programming together with system design for DCS-systems. Mainly for the pharmaceutical industry and mostly abroad but since the last couple of years also for the Mining industry. I started at Siemens here in Sweden with an early version of Simatic PCS7 and Batch Flexible, went a couple of years to Siemens Germany during the developing of the Simatic Batch before returning to Sweden and to finally join Midroc Automation in 2013. 

 

My existing role

  • I work since last spring as Technical Manager at Midroc Automation with main focus on our working processes. Finding out tools and processes that makes us faster in our daily work with an even higher quality of our deliveries. Trying to reduce manual work tasks, especially the less challenging ones, and exchange them with more automated functions.

In the lead of the Industrial Security and will do this part together with other colleagues

Experience/what I did before my existing role

  • I have a background in the field as an electrician, focus area building automation. Proceed to work with programming of automation solutions, and in small projects with all involving roles. Long experience with SCADA systems within bigger projects, product/system support and also performed trainings for customers. Have been working with all kind of communication within networks, also designing networks for the Industry sector, which also led to more focus on Security. Completed studies at KTH (Royal Institute of Technology) IT-security, Digital Forensics and Digital Evidence & Computer Crime. Also had the privilege to start a group within Siemens to offer Industrial Security Services to our customers. Assessments, implementations and management is the basis of a holistic security program.

 

My existing role

  • As a Security Officer I´m working with Industrial Security in an internal role, to set up the framework Internally to protect Siemens but also our customers facilities. Requirements regarding IT-security are constant increasing, due to legalizations, standards and the overall situation round the world with more and more sophisticated attacks related to Cybersecurity. In the role there is a major challenge to spread understanding of risk-based management throughout the organization.

Experience/what I did before my existing role

  • I’ve been working the past 20 years with Digital Manufacturing – simulation, planning, data management with large Nordic companies across all industries. In the late 90’s, I was part of starting up the Tecnomatix office in Sweden and since then there has been some significant mergers – first UGS and then Siemens. My role has always been to promote software sales as a pre-sales engineer and sometimes consultant. It’s exciting to see that it now finally happens – the time is right and all components are in place. 

My existing role

  • In my current role as Business Development Consultant, I focus both on companies that are taking their first steps with Digital Manufacturing and those who want to extend their PLM footprint from engineering into manufacturing. I do presentations and demonstrations, perform assessments, manage proof-of-concept projects, lecture and many other tasks to promote Digital Manufacturing.

Experience/what I did before my existing role

  • Background in Swedish Air Force. Later on I worked as a service engineer at Adtranz , as warranty administration engineer for internal project and in delivery project to SL (Storstockholms Lokaltrafik) with the purpose to be the link/feedback between the project , designers of the complete system/subsystems and the customer. Started to work at Siemens 2001. From 2002 and further on responsible for Simatic Safety Integrated and Simatic High Available Systems wo/w Safety Integrated and came across several domains including discrete - and process industries. 

My existing role

  • My existing role is Product Manager Simulation towards Virtual Commissioning, Virtual Acceptance Tests between designer/users, training of operators including increased automation system know how and understanding for service and maintenance people. Trained and certified by  TÜV SÜD Functional Safety Professional Machinery Safety (62061/13849.1), trained by  Risknowlogy and certifierad by TÜV SÜD Functional Safety Professional Process Safety (61511), trained by  TÜV Nord and Siemens Application Center method for  Risk Assessment and Risk Reduction for machines, brings also safety to a new dimension thanks to the new digitalized workflow for automation engineers/programmers within risk management processes and is an important part of my role.

Experience/what I did before my existing role

  • I have more than 20 years’ experience in risk management. I have worked as Research Engineer at the Swedish Defence Research Establishment, as Process Safety Engineer at AstraZeneca Process R&D and also taken a Licentiate of Engineering degree in Process Safety Engineering. 

My existing role

  • In my existing role I work as consultant and section manager at AFRY. I have been here since 2007 and my assignments include HAZOP facilitation, ATEX classification, chemical reaction hazards, gas dispersion, explosion consequence modelling, project risk, human machine interaction and risk management.

Experience/what I did before my existing role

  • I started at Volvo Cars Olofström in 1986, where I worked with electrical maintenance in the press shop. In 1998 I moved to ABB Body In White Olofström, where I worked with R&D for press automation and assembly.

My existing role

  • Since 2002 I´ve been working for Evomatic AB in Karlshamn. We work with implementation of robots, modernization of machines etc in different industries.’ We have upgraded control systems in both automotive industry and paper industry. In my current position I work as a senior automation engineer with responsibility for standardization and assists in selection of automation solutions.

Experience/what I did before my existing role

  • My first employer was Saab Automobile AB in Trollhättan. I worked at Paint Shop Maintenance mainly with robots and control systems. After have spent about 10 years with maintenance I moved on to the “Paint Shop Technical Department”. I stayed there for 5 years as a Project Manager for equipment projects. When a new department, CCRW (Controls, Conveyors, Robotics and Welding) was established in Trollhättan i joined this group as responsible for controls and robotics. The CCRW was working as a cross function department through all factories, Press-, Body-, Paint Shop and General Assembly.

My existing role

  • Today I´m back in the PM role again with equipment projects but this time at Borealis in Stenungsund. The projects I handle are at both of our sites, Kracker and PolyEthylen. Compared to the Automotive industry this is something completely different with other challenges that comes with a process industry. When the process industries are exposed to machinery equipment together with applicable directives the “going gets tough”,  and that is one my roles at the moment.
