The Siemens Graduate Program
What do you want to do with your future? If the answer is kick-start your career with a global two-year program that offers the opportunity to work abroad, then the Siemens Graduate Program (SGP) is for you.
Three challenges. Two years. One incredible experience.
Over two very exciting years, you’ll gain all the skills and knowledge you need to build a successful career at Siemens. The two years consist of three challenging assignments. For one of them you’ll work abroad at one of our 1,700 worldwide locations. With each assignment you will gain a deep insight of our business, invaluable experiences and lasting contacts
At the start of the program, you’ll be assigned a personal mentor. Together, you’ll decide what your program will look like and determine the general direction of your career path. This will be based on your qualifications and interests, as well as what’s important for us as a business.
It’s important to us that you’re put into the right department from day one as this is a working program; it’s all about learning by doing. You’ll be actively integrated into the day-to-day business of your project teams, assuming full responsibility for the tasks assigned to you.
We’re looking for people who want to take on the challenges of tomorrow. Think this is you? Join us.
Grow your network. Grow your skills.
Our training landscape will provide you with all the basics you need for a successful start as a leader in the organization. Besides developing your leadership skills, you will learn how to communicate effectively, become more self aware and gain valuable business and company knowledge. Additionally, you’ll be given the chance to help us tackle some of the current challenges we face. You’ll also get to meet with our SGP participants from over 20 different countries at the annual SGP World Conference.
If the SGP is not available in your selected country, or if there are no open positions, it is possible to apply in other countries. Please check the country requirements above and please note, you should only apply in a different country if this meets your career aspirations and you can get work authorization. You can also view your local careers page for other development programs or entry-level opportunities.
You’ll directly work within our divisions and experience different areas, such as product development and distribution, product management and marketing, manufacturing, project management or procurement and logistics. Ultimately these are decided by your interests and qualifications as well as our business requirements.
This greatly depends on your performance and interests during the program. You’ll discuss this with your mentor throughout and he/she will support you in your transition once the program comes to an end. You may be offered a position in your home country or abroad based on availability. We’ll support you in either an expert career, management career or project management career.
