Siemens Digitalization Hub
Launched Siemens’ first fully integrated Digitalization Hub to support digitalization efforts of companies in Southeast Asia’s urban infrastructure, industry and healthcare sectors.
Installed an Integrated Building Management System at Marina Bay Financial Center which ensured that the building automation, access control, surveillance and fire alarm systems are able to interact seamlessly.
Installed cutting-edge variable speed drive system for PacificLight Power’s MV boiler feed water pumps to reduce the plant’s electrical energy consumption and run-down time, and to increase productivity and improve flexibility.
In the area of transportation, Siemens installed a Self-Driving Vehicle suite, an overarching intermodal transportation system, at Singapore’s first autonomous vehicle test center, to assist LTA in developing standards for safe deployment of AVs on public roads.
Siemens was awarded the contract to supply a comprehensive set of depot equipment, incl. Train Wash Plant, Warehouse Storage Management & Cranes, for the East Coast Integrated Depot – the world’s first 4-in-1 rail and bus depot. The depot will maintain three major MRT lines.
In collaboration with the National Heart Centre, Siemens successfully installed a 1.5 Tesla MRI system with ASEAN’s first 60-channel cardiac coil.
To manage and maintain transparency for complex logistic supply chains, Siemens delivered to SingPost Regional eCommerce Logistics Hub a fully automated, state-of-the-art parcel sorting facility that can process up to 100,000 parcels a day, and a cross-belt sorter that can sort up to 10,000 items per hour.
